We’re here to connect you to better future! No matter where you are in your job search, we will provide the resources you need to land a career. Our centers offer a wide variety of services from 1-1 career advising, resume and cover letter review, and much more. In addition, we have a vast network of educators, employers, and community partners that can take your career to the next level!

Veterans Services
Have you served in the military? Let us know! We offer priority of service to military veterans, meaning vets and their eligible spouses take precedence in all of our services.
Our centers are home to Veterans Career Advisors who specialize in your needs. Your Veterans Career Advisor will work 1-1 with you to identify and overcome challenges to employment. These could include resume development, interviewing skills, housing or transportation assistance, training opportunities, and much more!
Training Opportunities
It’s essential that you gain the skills needed to compete in the 21st Century economy and we’re here to support you! Michigan Works! Southeast can connect you to training providers for a variety profession such as Nursing, Transportation, and more. We also offer free workshops available to all individuals.
Eligible career seekers could receive:
- Paid training at a real workplace
- Financial aid toward certifications
- GED® / Highschool Diploma Completion

Our monthly workshops offer a wide variety of interactive classes to help anyone become ready for employment. Regardless if you are experienced or considering employment for the first time, we have a workshop for you.

We regularly invite employers to host open interviews for their job openings. This is a great opportunity to network and get hired!

Our resource rooms are available to all career seekers free of charge. In addition to computers, telephones, and fax machines you will have access to our friendly and knowledgeable team members who are happy to assist you.

Youth
Michigan Works! Southeast offers youth services to individuals between the ages of 16-24 to assist with educational and employment goals. Guided by a Career Advisor, each youth will develop a unique plan to meet their goals & personal development. Our team will assist you in career exploration, help identify your skills and connect you with resources to boost your skills to be marketable in today’s economy!

Adult Education
Tossing around the idea of completing your High School Diploma or equivalency? We want to connect with you! Offering in house instruction in most of our locations, we are your one-stop shop for all of your educational needs. Our programs are designed around individualized instruction so you can have one on one attention with our instructors to help reach your goals. We are your link to post secondary education as well as a great hub of resources throughout your time with us. Services are free and we may be able to assist with the cost of testing. Some eligibility requirements may apply.
